The atmosphere is relaxed, ideal for forgetting all your worries during your stay. There are two restaurants close to the accommodation that are open from 11:00am to 6:30pm. All other restaurants have delivery service to the building. There are several small markets in the area, and large supermarkets are 15 minutes away in San Pedro de Macoris or Boca Chica. Public transportation is less than a block away, but we also offer a vehicle for a reasonable cost that will take you, wait for you, and return you to the accommodation to do your shopping, to and from the airport or any destination you want to visit. Juan Dolio is about an hour away from almost any city in the east of the country: Punta Cana, Bayahibe, Las Terrenas, Santo Domingo, Altos de Chavon, etc.

It's a quiet residential area, allowing for restful and relaxing stays, with the beach almost exclusively for the building's occupants. There are two restaurants near the building; you can walk east along the internal street or along the beach. Soya Azul and Aquarium are open from 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. If you continue walking further east for about 20 minutes, you'll reach the public beach area, where you'll find a wide variety of restaurants and wineries.
The building is located very close to the main road where public transportation runs approximately every 30 minutes. It's reliable for getting around town, but if you prefer walking and exploring, the town is very safe. If you don't want to rent a car to explore the rest of the country or go to the major supermarkets, we can recommend reliable taxis, but under no circumstances should you use Uber. The drivers are scammers, personally charging additional fares beyond those already paid through the app.
